We have managed to keep ourselves pretty darn busy since summer started and I lost my few hours a week of preschool (sigh). We made a quick day trip up to Logan to see some friends.
We miss it so much up there and all of our usual spots...the traffic not so much.
We've spent some time in the water.
And made a weekend trip up to Wyoming with my mom to see our great friends. Hadley ran the better part of a 5k. Now she is adamant that she needs some running shoes.
We even got to visit a real-life fire station and check out their new truck. We all thought it was pretty cool.
We've had some fun cousin time doing what kids do in the summer...run around like crazy people and sometimes stop for a bite of food.
Jonas was gone for over a week so when he came home we had a family day at Ruth's Diner and at the park (where my fat and clumsy self slipped and ate cement).
Liberty Park has some cool water features to play in so we spent a day there.
Hadley has been begging for months to go bowling so we decided to make it happen. Her attention span is getting much better, but 2 games is still a little long, especially when there are friends to play with and arcades.
Other than that we are spending lots of time working in the yard, Jonas is getting the nursery all painted, and I am just growing a baby! We have to make the most of our last few months with just our Hadley Mae...she has no idea how things are going to change soon!
