Remi is really starting to get to the fun age. Her little personality is starting to show, and she is getting fun to play with! Hadley still loves her most of the time, but she plays pretty rough. Remi doesn't mind letting me know when she is over it!
Remi's new discovery for the month was blowing raspberries and smacking her lips. Raspberries are her favorite, and she will do them all day long. You can have full conversations back and forth of just raspberries.
Remi is very aware of her surroundings. She still has her mommy radar but loves when other people are around she can check out. She always has to have a million toys around or anything that can go in her mouth. This little play toy is the thing that will keep her occupied the longest. Her favorite thing on it? The tag.
We may have a little too much fun with her sometimes...She is a good sport about it.
We've been out at the track a lot lately, and she just hangs out. She smiles at everyone and loves walking around looking at everything.
Except the night Big Blue was there...she didn't like him one bit.
Remi loves when you read to her still and lays there chatting the whole time. It is my favorite when I spy Hadley and Remi cuddled up reading books.
Hadley's friend out at the track is a little older and always wants to hold Remi, so now Hadley does too again. She does pretty good with her. Remi loves to laugh at Hadley and chase her around with me.
We started Remi on some oatmeal and then added in some sweet potatoes. She really loves the first few bites and then is over it.
We had a girl day and took the kids to Discovery Gateway. Hadley had a blast, but of course we all got sick and have been fighting it for 2 weeks. You can practically see the germs in that place. Remi loved riding in the stroller like a big girl.
She has gotten a little taller this month and can play with some new toys. I would put her in this bouncer before and she was too short so it would hit her in the neck. Now she likes to bop around for a bit.
Me and Hadley attempted a mohawk the other day. This was the best we could do with a lot of effort. It will come soon, little one. You can see she has lots of hair, but it is a little light so we will see when it fully grows in. Her eyes have stayed pretty dark but are still a mix of colors.

We get lots of comments on how happy Remi is, and she really is like that all of the time!
Even if it takes her a few minutes to wake up sometimes!
Happy 5 months little girl!! What would we do without you?
