SUN!

Last Friday, early, we headed to Phoenix. Well, we tried to. We had to wait on the runway for an hour in line to get the plane de-iced. Then we were off!

We stayed with Jonas's aunt and uncle (thank you much) and imagine our shock when they told us they had a puppy jib. Nah, we thought, nothing else in the world looks like jib.

Then we saw this! Is this not a puppy jib?
A little comparison if you don't believe me...
Because we never saw a puppy jib, we always wondered what he looked like. One life mystery solved if you ask me.

Anyways it was an awesome day of laying in the sun. What else do you need in March after a winter in Logan? Later that night the whole crew headed to dinner at a fun mexican restaurant.
The next two days were all about races. The weather was perfect on Saturday. Sun sun sun. I was in heaven. My aunt and uncle also live down there so they came and checked everything out and we got to catch up.
Above was Saturday. You can see Jonas is the one hunched up in 3rd.

And below is Sunday. CRAPPY! It started off just cloudy and then all hell broke loose. Luckily we were under a tent but with the wind we were still so wet and there was tons and tons of mud everywhere. It was a pretty miserable day, but both Jonas and his little cousin got a 1st in their classes that day so we can't complain!
Here we are huddled up trying to stay dry and warm.
This is Jonas winning his race. It was pretty entertaining to hear everyone yell "stay up" and "hang on" instead of pedal. You can see how crazy muddy it was.
Overall, an awesome weekend away and a good family reunion for the Harmon's. And I was treated to some amazing chocolate cake. Grandma's are the best right?

Hopefully next time it will just be sunny though :)
