Ten Months

This past month has had a ton of firsts for Ms. Remi. It started off, of course, with her first plane ride and everything that came with vacation...
like her first time being on the beach! Too bad she won't remember any of it! She started saying dada on vacation, and shortly after picked up mama.
Remi is so good at going with the flow. She is always being drug around as I am running Hadley to her activities, out to the track, up to work on the house, or she is with my mom a lot while I'm doing any of the above. She's just happy to be along for the ride. She also loves playing with the dog toys...
Remi is getting very interested in what Hadley is doing and always wants what she has. She loves sitting in the big pool and mostly drinking the water.
Both girls got a little bug that included a fever, and then poor Remi started getting her first teeth on top of that. It made for a rough week, but Remi got her first 2 teeth out of it!
It was such a hot month, so we spent a lot of time in the water to keep cool. I was impressed that Remi could feed herself the popsicle.
We went to the splash pad for the first time of the summer. It took her a few minutes, but Remi actually ended up liking splashing around with Hadley and their cousins, Savannah and Tavin.
Remi is officially a crawler! She is still a short little thing so she looks younger than she is. I can't wait until she is walking around because it will be pretty darn cute. She is into everything now. I am glad we can move into our house soon because it will be a bit more baby-proofed than my parents' house.
Remi figured out how to sit up in her bed and then got stuck a few times. She still falls back asleep, just in the craziest positions.
The new house finally has carpet so Remi can play! She has spent most of her time there locked up the poor thing. She loves this train though and will spend a lot of time playing with it by herself.
Remi celebrated her first July 4 and her first parade. It was during nap time, but she still had fun watching all the mayhem.
I had to let her try to feed herself mashed potatoes. She definitely needed a bath after, but she had a blast! She has decided she would much rather have big girl food than baby food, and her current favorites are yogurt, mashed potatoes, veggie sticks, any treat she can get her fingers on, and she is starting to get a bit of real milk here and there.
Remi loves to point at anything and everything. She still loves to clap for herself, and she dances anytime she hears a beat. She makes herself known around the house and isn't afraid to yell when she isn't happy.
Happy 10 months little girl. We love you so much!
