Where has this past year went? I can't even believe Remi is one because she still seems so much like my little baby...I will take it while it lasts.
Remi's favorite food right now is almost anything...but she goes especially crazy over bananas, fish, PB&Js, and of course any fun treat. She really loves to feed herself and makes quite the mess most of the time.
Now that she's gotten a little taller, she is having lots of fun in the playroom. She will play quite a while getting into all of the toys. The purple pants in this picture were capris on Hadley :).
Remi had her first fair experience, and she DID NOT like the carousel. But who likes the fair anyways?
Remi is always happy to be outside. She loves watching all the kids play and the airplanes.
Both of the girls were happy when Remi got to ride in the cart like a big girl. They shared a cookie and were good almost the whole time in the grocery store (amazing!).
Hadley likes to climb in Remi's crib in the morning, and they either cuddle or Hadley body-slams Remi. Both are fun sometimes. Hadley is really good with her a lot of the time, not so nice on occasion. I always tell her one day Remi is going to get her back and won't get in trouble for it.
Jonas had surgery a few weeks ago and has been on the couch for the most part. Remi has been totally digging having him here so much. When she wakes up she will ask for dada or if we have been running errands that's the first thing she says when we walk in the door.
We've been trying to get a few last summer activities in while we still can. Remi still loves the water.
I attempted a pony the other day, and it didn't work at all. So we will stick with the mohawk for now. Her eyes haven't really decided on a particular color, but they are pretty dark.
Remi gets a lot of baths because it is usually easier to hose her off after she eats. Hadley really wanted to cuddle her.
I think Remi might be our brave one. She is already trying to be a climber, and this is how she went all around Target.
She has started to stand on almost anything she can but still doesn't care to walk around too much. I'm sure part of it is I had all the free time in the world when Hadley was this age so we walked a lot more. Remi will get there. She has mastered the stairs and darts for them any time she has a chance.
She is figuring out how this crazy world works. She will pick up a phone and hold it to her ear, grab the remote and point it towards the TV, and this day she got my shorts and put them on herself.
Remi loves giving kisses (or smacking you, depending on the day), waving, pointing at everything, blowing kisses, and being held upside down. The tramp is growing on her again after Hadley terrified her on it.
I finally found our hiking backpack, and Remi loves when we go for a hike so we can just check out all of the scenery.
Happiest of birthdays my sweet Remi. We are so glad you joined our family!!
