Staycation

Since Jonas travels so much, and we are always stuck home, we try to line up lots of fun things to do while he is gone.

We had actually tried to go to San Diego with him this past weekend, but Delta is a bunch of butts and wouldn't let us use the buddy pass we had. So Jonas got us a room in Park City for Friday night. Unfortunately it ended up being freezing so we were stuck inside, but the hotel we stayed at is really nice.
Hadley kindly informed me that I couldn't sleep in the bed but could have the couch...
She thinks hotels are soooo cool.
Since we couldn't swim we went out to dinner and then got a movie and some treats for the room. Chocolate pudding in bed does NOT happen at home.
The next day we had some meatballs to eat for breakfast (Cocoa Puffs), but the fridge in the hotel had froze our milk so we did pancakes at Kneaders instead. Then it was off to the outlet malls! It is always interesting shopping with a 2-year-old, but we made it through with a few cute things.
On Sunday my parents and I decided to take Hadley to the circus. The best seats would have been over $100 each (CRAZY) so we stuck with nosebleeds. It definitely wasn't what I was expecting, but there were some cool parts and Hadley did pretty good considering she wouldn't take a nap once she knew we were going to the circus after nap time.
Plus she scored a sweet toy from Papa.
It was a good weekend, but I needed a weekend to rest from my weekend! A night in a hotel with a 2-year-old isn't exactly relaxing.
