Hot Diggity Doggy Park

We recently discovered that little 'ol Logan has it's very own dog park! Or, small fenced in grass area. But we were excited anyways!!

We were hoping this would be perfect for Jib to become more comfortable around other dogs (and their humans too). This is a big feat for Jib. Because of his past abandonment and abuse issues, he is very timid around new people and dogs until he gets to know them.

The first time we went Jonas and Jib took their time wandering around. Notice that Jonas is being a very responsible pet owner :).Jib really loves playing with the littler dogs, and we are still working on the bigger ones. But he is doing so well. He lets strangers pet him and stranger dogs sniff his butt! Progress!Anyone know this guy? Well, there are a lot of interesting people at the dog park. 99% are nice and fun to talk to. Last time we went though there was a guy who thought he was in fact the Dog Whisperer. I let him talk and tell us what to do, knowing it wasn't a big deal. But then he started to push Jib's tail down, push his head down, and then the final straw, he started to step on Jib's feet! He was "showing Jib who is in charge."

Dude, I am in charge. He is my dog. Thanks though.
