Why I Love Living in Utah

It took me for freaking ever to find the dry sherry at Smith's yesterday. I needed it for a sweet-n-sour chicken recipe.

The lady scans it.

A manager happened to be bagging my goods. She stops the cashier and tells her she can't sell me the sherry because it is cooking wine and it is Sunday.

Good thing she caught that. Me and Jonas were planning on drinking the whole bottle and wreaking havoc on Logan.

Whew.

Are you serious? That is so weird. Since when can you not buy some dry sherry on Sunday. Maybe you should have told them to get off there high horse because they were working on Sunday... How dare they break the Sabbath.

Yeah... SO here in Portland there is a entire section of the grocery store that is for fine wines. Even the Food 4 Less sells fine wine. All my friends up here think that it is crazy that you have to go to the State Liquor Store to get anything other then beer.
